I was born in April 1978 and as I was getting older, I was always amazed and inspired by my dad, who was always carrying all his camera equipment throughout our vacation each day, for mainly taking photographs of landscapes, my mom and me.
Years later, I received my first point and shoot camera as a birthday present, and started taking photos by myself. I fell in love with photography. This developed through polaroid photos, slides and nowadays into Fullframe High-Quality photos taken with Canon equipment.
Why Canon? Because my dad used it and was always very happy with it, and in the beginning we could swap lenses. Until today I never attended a photography class, everything is self-taught or explained by my dad.

All my astrophotography is done with a Canon EOS 60D, modified for astrophotography or a cooled ZWO ASI1600MM CMOS Camera, on an EQ6 mount, either through a camera lens or my telescope. The System is guided by an ALCCD QHY Camera attached to a 50mm Guidescope and guided by PHD. After months and years of experimenting, I am reaching the stage of showing the results. I shoot under the light polluted sky of the Rhein-Main-Area, Germany.
